Kemdikbud decided to simplify a special curriculum to help the learning process and determine the curriculum that suits the needs of students. Dream – Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) has continued to launch several initiatives to support teaching and learning activities from home as directed by President Joko Widodo.
Some of these initiatives include optimization of distance-based education platforms, collaboration with online learning service provider platforms, providing free quotas and subsidies, to the Learning from Home program on TVRI, and learning programs at RRI.
To make it easier for students, the Ministry of Education and Culture released the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 719 / P / 2020 concerning Guidelines for Implementing Curriculum in Education Units in Special Conditions. The goal is that educational units can still carry out the learning process and determine a curriculum that suits the needs of students.

Education units can continue to use the national curriculum
Education units can still use the simplification of the curriculum under special conditions prepared by the Ministry of Education and Culture

Provide Learning Modules
Apart from providing a special curriculum in the midst of a pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Culture also provides various learning modules for PAUD and SD. It is hoped that the provision of these modules will further assist the learning process from home to make it easier for teachers, parents, and students.
